New project in Northeast China
We are commissioned by Momoge National Nature Protection Area
Management Bureau from Jilin Province in Northeast China to treat
50,000 m³/d of extended rice field irrigation water polluted by
nutrients and pesticides. Implementation will be undertaken with our
local partner companies LandCity International, Beijing, und Liaoning Best Enterprise China Huaxi
Engineering Design, Shenyang.
Signing of the contract and a first local survey has been done by our
managing director M. Blumberg during his visit 29th November
to 5th December, 2010 in Beijing, Shenyang and Zhenlai.
Commencement for
construction will be by end of April 2011.

Wastewater
treatment project in
Mexico City
9th December, 2010
Visit of Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister
for
Economic Cooperation and Development, Mrs. Gudrun Kopp, at our wastewater
treatment project in Mexico City, co-financed by DEG Bank. It
has been presented by our project partner Dr. Jürgen Baumann
(Aquatec, Mexico).

Visit of Chinese university professors from Shanghai
November, 2010
Chinese
partners of our network 'Ecological Engineering Society Germany' (IÖV)
visited Germany on 19th to 30th November, 2010. The three professors of
East China Normal University, Mr. Yongli Cai, Mr. Yatong Xu
und Mr. Kai Yang as well as the vice manager of Shanghai Harbour City
Development Group, Mr. Gang Zhu, would like to get innovative ideas for
a sustainable water management. From 23th to 25th November, 2010 our
engineer Mr. Kühne has shown them different projects of ecological
engineering near Hanover: Kronsberg, Lahstedt and Braunschweig.
Main topics have been: Decentralized stormwater retention and
treatment, natural sewage fields and wastewater reuse, constructed
wetlands and reed bed sewage sludge treatment.

Industrial
wastewater project in
South Vietnam
28th November, 2010
Tests on completion, taking over of the works and start-up of operation
of our industrial
wastewater project in South Vietnam has been
undertaken by our Managing Director M. Blumberg.

The
IFAT China, an international trade fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse,
Recycling, and natural energy sources. It took place at 5th to 7th May,
2010 (Shanghai New International Expo Centre).
The Ecological Engineering Society Germany (IÖV) was present as exhibitor
together with Dehua Company from Suzhou.
IÖV Germany was
represented by their member of board M. Blumberg.
After
successful implementation of the first three projects of
ecotechnological wastewater treatment (constructed wetlands) IÖV
Germany meanwhile has a subsidiary in Suzhou near Shanghai and is
involved significant into realization of new projects concerning
environmental engineering. |
